Community Manager
COMMUNITY MANAGER NEEDED!
We are a large Property Management Company looking to add to our team of Community Managers working mostly in high-end condominiums located in Portland's beautiful Pearl District. This job requires a person who is reliable and self-motivated. Requires at least 2 years of previous Concierge experience, preferably in a Condominium.
Position Summary:
The Community Manager ensures that all on-site services are delivered to the standards of a five-star building. The Community Manager is tasked with coordinating the delivery of front desk services to the building, including scheduling, hiring, training and policy development. Ensures that monthly board packets and financial statement are prepared and submitted to the Board of Directors in accordance with the contract objectives. This position assists the Senior Portfolio Manager in creating an annual management plan for the association and is counted on to take the lead role in its implementation and completion. The Community Manager is expected to provide on-site services to the association which may include: creating building notices, completing monthly inspections, scheduling and meeting with vendors, receiving and responding to inquiries from owners and board members and monitoring the performance of the on-site staff. The Community Manager will be in attendance at Board of Directors meetings in a supplemental capacity. The efforts of the Community Manager are supported and supervised directly by the Senior Portfolio Manager and Portfolio Manager when needed.
Duties and Responsibilities Overview:
- Manage concierge team performance, including scheduling, hiring and training.
- Provide training for on-site systems and access controls
- Provide direct customer support (tier 2), such as assisting with resident portal use, answering incoming customer telephone calls and responding to emails.
- Prepare for, attend and take action requested at all regular, special and annual meetings
- Assist in the implementation and performance of the Budget.
- Review Financial statements for understanding and asking questions to help support accuracy and timely delivery.
- Approve payable invoices
- Draft Monthly Managers Report, Board Packets and Meeting Minutes
- Manage Vendor relationship, communication and performance evaluation
- Obtain bids and prepare contracts for common area maintenance, and capital expenditures
- Draft Solution Recommendation Forms for Board approval
- Assist in the preparation of monthly Board packets and distribute Board notices
- Conduct weekly property inspections.
- Write/publish and distribute notices and violations.
- Meet with the Concierge Team at least weekly to review status of projects, areas where assistance is needed, training etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $23.00 to $28.00 /hour
